DAYTIME Senior Care You Can Trust
About Us
Our Story
Working together to care for seniors.

At 50 years old, Betty found herself needing something to do, so she took a job as an activity assistant in a nursing home. After being a rental business owner for almost 20 years, she was looking for something different. She fell in love with providing activities to seniors because seniors are very special people. She decided to open an adult day program to give seniors a safe and fun place to visit. She owned A Home for the Day for 17 years until 2023, when she decided to retire. Her daughter, Julie, was working in human resources and decided to make a career change. Her timing perfectly lined up with her mother’s retirement plans. Julie bought the business and is excited to carry on the legacy of providing quality daytime care for seniors.
What We Do
A Home for the Day LLC is a licensed Adult Day care center for dependent adults. We serve the St. Cloud, MN area (St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Waite Park, Cold Spring, Sartell, Stearns County, Sherburne County, and Benton County). Read our story.
We like to think of ourselves as a club, providing our “club members” with activities, meals, and other amenities. A Home for the Day provides a positive, loving, and Christian atmosphere for members. Our members enjoy engaging activities like bingo, sharing stories, meals/snacks, bocce ball music, crafts, and field trips. Our goal is to ensure participants remain living in their home and in the community for as long as possible. We are a cost-effective alternative to home care and assisted living.
